Thanks for joining me! This is my first blog EVER! I’ve been a Spanish teacher, a Certified Public Accountant, and a mother of three (red-headed) girls, and I hope that my experiences can be used to help YOU!
This first posting will introduce the why behind why I’ve embraced going paperless, decluttering, etc. My blog will have more to it than just going paperless, but it’s something I’m going to focus on. I hope to publish an e-book too, hopefully after getting feedback from this blog.
I am passionate about going paperless for many reasons. The main reason why I’ve gone paperless is that it has made my life easier, and I hope it makes my kids’ lives easier as well! LESS paper means MORE space in my house. LESS paper means LESS time wasted finding documents, and MORE time with my kids. I don’t want my kids to grow up in a house full of clutter.
Another reason I’ve gone as paperless as possible is the threat of deforestation and it’s effects (take what’s going on in Alaska, for example).
Since having kids, I have worked full time, part time, and been a stay-at-home mom. I am currently a mompreneur. I could not do this without the advancements of technology, including going paperless, for which I am very thankful. I want to help other [moms] do the same. As a Certified Public Accountant, I audited for many years and most of this was done without the use of much if any paper. I want to help others feel confident having LESS filing cabinets, piles of papers, organizational systems, etc. to have MORE space to enjoy life in their families, homes and offices.
I want to have LESS of what I don’t need to have MORE of what is precious, meaningful and sacred. How about you?
